Update on White River’s Load Shedding and Water Crisis:

At KU DE TA B&B in White River, we’ve transcended the challenges of load shedding with our solar backup system. Likewise, our guests need not worry about water shortages as we boast our own water supply.

Nestled in the heart of the South African subtropical lowveld, KU DE TA B&B offers a distinct experience. As a professional, purpose-built establishment, we pride ourselves on being owner-operated, ensuring personalized care for our guests.

Our accommodation comprises nine en-suite rooms, featuring king or queen size beds, with twin and family rooms offering a extra three-quarter bed. Each room boasts its own outside entrance, many with private courtyards or additional outdoor showers, as well as spacious verandas perfect for enjoying the subtropical climate. Individually adorned with minimalist Indonesian Teak furniture, our rooms exude peace and tranquility. Complimentary Wi-Fi, bar fridges, TVs, tea and coffee facilities, along with air conditioning, enhance guest comfort. Draped in pure cotton percale linen, our beds ensure a restful night’s sleep. The soothing presence of a koi pond meandering around the property adds to the serene ambiance.

Relaxation awaits in our expansive lounge, furnished with oversized daybeds ideal for leisurely afternoons. Start your day with a sumptuous South African breakfast served in our dining room, which can be opened up to the front garden for an alfresco feel. For dinner, available upon request with advance booking, indulge in a three-course meal served in the dining room (please note, we do not hold a liquor license, but guests are welcome to bring their own).
